The original director (27 years)of Desert Fire in Fayetteville, AR, I moved to Russellville in 2003 with my job, and founded Mirage Middle Eastern Dance Troupe and Kismet. I teach beginning, intermediate and advanced classes, most in a Egyptian cabaret style, but occasionally with ethnic style. Both troupes dance at weddings, nursing homes, Race for the Cure, and various festivals in the region. My 33 years of Middle Eastern dance experience gives me the benefit of having seen a great deal of the evolution of our art form in the United States. I also sponsor Shimmyfest in Fayetteville, AR.
